The file notes you have created will be displayed.

You can create a new note using the green plus sign (1).

You can use the sort icons (2) to adjust the sorting of the file notes. You can sort the file notes by date (default), category, or project structure.

You can use the filter (3) to set which file notes you want to display. Here you can limit the file notes displayed according to the following criteria: Time period, project structure, category, creator.

You can use the default filter (4) to reset the filter to the default settings.

When a file note is selected, the information for that file note is displayed.

You can edit the file note using the wrench icon (5).

The PDF can be created using the PDF icon (6).

The file note can be copied using the blue icon (7). If participants have already been entered, they can also be copied.

Until it is locked (8), the PDF contains a watermark with the words “Preliminary draft.” If a file note is locked, it can no longer be edited. If the lock is subsequently removed, all signatures of the participants will be deleted.

The file note can be deleted using the trash can icon (9). The file note can only be deleted if it is not locked.

Create new note

When creating a file note, you can choose whether you want to create a new file note or import a template. Templates that can be imported are managed by superusers in the admin menu.

In the cover sheet tab (1), you can enter the date, time, category, etc. At the top, you also have the option of specifying your own print title (2), which will appear in your PDF printout.

For the text, you have the option of copying the text from a template (3), creating a new template (4), or overwriting a template (5).

You can add another company using the green plus sign next to Participants (6). If the company does not yet exist, it must be created using the address list. You can add a signature or a placeholder for a signature using the DNA icon (7). If no signature is stored, the icon is gray. If a digital signature has been added, the icon will turn dark blue. If the icon is light blue, a placeholder has been added. The person will be listed on the PDF for signing.

You can upload documents from your device using the green plus sign next to Documents (8).

You can add images using your device's camera (9), your device's photo library (10), or the project's image gallery (11).

In the Defects tab (12), you can view existing pending issues/defects.
